Now theese player runnign them haulers are done, they can go watch a movie or whatever, knowing the gang leader will take care of the npc way before they can hurt them. All they need to do is come back once an hour to switch roid/unload cargo.
Ok! This is all great news for us pirates huh? I mean imagine finding one of theese ops, killing of them defenceless afk mining haulers...
Yeh right, the moment mr.pirate enters local, gang leader nicely warps the whole gang to planet X moon Y, wich ofcourse everyone already is aligned to, to the safety of their indestructable POS.
So basically, you can now afk mine all the highend ores you want with no effort or risk whatsoever.
"Balancing" 
Remove the possibility to fit mining lasers on them before it gets out of hand already...
PS. I just saw the stats on the ships last night, didnt check on them in detail, so hopefully there will be something preventing this. in that case all is fine.. DS

In 0.0 this makes little difference with the size and dmg done by spawns. Sure it may buy the hauler a little extra time to warp out, but if it is already taking fire, chances are its already been webbed / scrambled.
You may just as well use Tech 1 haulers which are a fraction of the price if anything goes wrong. If a defender f's up then all they really have to worry about is themselves and not 9 x 60 mill Tech 2 haulers.
I doubt anyone would use such a setup using Tech 1, let alone Tech 2.
In regards to 0.5 - thats a different story as it may offer the possiblity for people to afk / macro mine, since they maybe able to tank the NPC's indefinitely.
If turrets are to be removed then the haulers shouldn't be left undefended. As such IMHO they should get 2 small missile slots instead, giving them a slight boost in frig defence, which I think is needed .
